Short Week
General Information
The courses are aimed at all those who, for passion, artistic interest or simple curiosity, have the desire to try their hand at the techniques of mosaic art. During the lessons, held by qualified master mosaicists, the basic elements of mosaic techniques will be addressed: → Cutting and preparation of materials with use of the traditional Martellina → Study of trends → Composition of direct-technical subjects proposed by teachers The sketches can be previously viewed in the PDF sketches of this section. If the participants have the desire to present their own sketch they are required to do so at least 15 days before the beginning of the workshop so that the teachers have time to evaluate the possibility of his mosaic translation. In any case the mosaics can have a maximum size of MQ. 0.20. The entry fee includes: Using the equipment Materials for the execution of mosaics (they are included in the marble and Venetian enamels quota while gold materials can be purchased apart). Insurance coverage against accidents. Certificate of attendance (with a minimum frequency of 70% of the hours). The mosaic made during the course. A catalogue on the activities of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli. Guided tour of the school.
