The historical archive of mosaic designs held at the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli can be consulted in the Regional Catalogue of Cultural Heritage of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.

The Archive comprises over 1,850 documents, dating from 1922 (the year the School was founded) to around 1990. These include drawings, sketches, rough drafts, transparencies, cartoons and paintings… by various artists who have collaborated with or taught at the School.
In 1996, as part of a project with the then Regional Centre for Cataloguing and Restoration – now the Regional Cultural Heritage Authority (ERPAC) – the entire Archive was organised and catalogued and is now easily accessible online.
