Born in Parma in 1964, I am interested in music, video art and archaeology. I discovered mosaic towards the end of the 1980s, followed by three-year training (1992-95) at the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in Spilimbergo. After a short experience at the Mayersche Hofkunstanstalt in Munich, I moved to Berlin and founded the company 'Cosmomusivo Mosaik' together with Svenja Teichert. Among the major works realized are the 240 m² paving for the Neues Museum in Berlin (2009-10), the 160 m², always paved, for the Berlin Wintergarten Theater-Varieté (2016), the collaboration with the kitchen company Siematic, with the realization of more than 900 m² of surfaces for kitchen floors. (2004-10), the dome of the female Hamam in the Schokoladen Fabrik in Berlin (2002), the logo of the brewery Giesinger Bräu in Munich (2014). Among the courses held at educational institutions I would mention those at the Max Planck Gymnasium (2013), the Ernst Abbe Gymnasium (2014) and the Albert Einstein Gymnasium (2014). In December 2021 I moved to Parma and opened the company Fornasari mosaici, with the realization, among other things, of the mosaic for the Tangoloft in Berlin and the mermaid floor for the villa Margini in Reggio Emilia. As for 2022-23, I have held evening classes in my workshop but also at schools such as the art school Toschi Parma (4 courses), the art school Candiani Busto Arsizio (VA) (1 course), the art school Munari Castelmassa (RO) (1 course) the Parmense building school (6 courses), the Cremona building school (1 course). Language skills: excellent German, discreet French, sufficient English, sufficient Spanish.
