International Competition “Pictor Imaginarius”
The Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli was invited to participate as a guest of honor at the tenth edition of theInternational Competition “Pictor Imaginarius” – The Art of Mosaic, to be held in the town of Nazzano (Rome) from 20 to 26 May 2019 under the direction of Alessandro Lugari, Curator of the Mosaic Arts sector of the Museo del Fiume.The competition is open to all those working in the field of mosaic art and it is an important meeting point for selected mosaic artists from all over the world. The participants, in particular, will be divided into two categories, professionals and emerging, and the opportunity to live their works, enlivening the streets of the quaint medieval village of new and fun mosaic experiments that describe the cultural and geographical peculiarities of the artists in competition . For the curious, it will also be possible to carry out a free collective mosaic stage. The Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli is pleased to attend this particular event with an exhibition of selected works, created by their students and with a conference dedicated to the same.
