The winners of Mosaic Young Talent VI edition
During the inauguration of the Icons of Art exhibition, which opened on Friday 14 May 2021 at the “Silvia Zenari” Civic Museum of Natural History in Pordenone, the two winners (ex aequo) of the VI edition of the Mosaic Young Talent competition were announced.
The competition was attended by 6 students of the III course who presented portraits of famous men and women from the world of cinema and music. Specifically: Elisabetta Cattarino made the portrait of Bradley Cooper, Gabriele Riccio that of Sergio Leone, Samuele Contin that of Tupac, Irene Mollaretti Ezra Miller, Noemi Roma Kobe Bryant, Adelaida Sharakhova Monica Bellucci.
These works are exhibited in the exhibition Icons of Artwhere you can see a total of 16 mosaic portraits (some winners of past competitions, others performed this year in the context of collaborations between former students and the Naonis Association, which organizes, in collaboration with the Scuola mosaicisti del Friuli, the competition and the exhibition).
The portraits of Noemi Roma and Adelaida Sharakhova were judged by the competition commission as worthy of being awarded.
The Icons of Art exhibition will remain open until 20 June 2021, from Thursday to Sunday, from 3 pm – 7 pm (admission allowed by reservation by calling 0434 392950 with the following hours: Tuesday and Wednesday 9 am – 1 pm, Thursday and Friday 9 am-1 pm and 3 pm – 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday 1 pm – 6 pm).
