Nemo Gonano Award: a recognition for the students of the second course
In memory of Dr. Nemo Gonano, who from 1994 to 2004 was president of the Consortium for the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, an award was set up by the Maniago-Spilimbergo Rotary Club for students of the second course. This recognition will be awarded to the best essay made at the end of the second training year.
The Rotary Club Maniago-Spilimbergo, in collaboration with the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, thus wants to remember the figure of Nemo Gonano who with dedication and commitment gave development and new perspectives to the School. In memory of this, the Prize aims to be a stimulus for students to best express the technical and expressive skills they have acquired, an invitation to improve themselves and a support to continue with ever greater skills to qualify as “Mosaic Masters”.
