Sky Arte comes into Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli
Luce Social Club, a cultural entertainment program broadcast on Sky Arte, will dedicate a service to the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli!
On the morning of Friday 29 May, the presenter Martina Riva visited the school together with her cameraman. With her we have dealt with many topics, from the history of the School, to the mosaics placed in many cities of the world, from the study and promotion activities carried out over the years and to future prospects. We also opened the doors of the exhibition gallery, in the building opposite the school, where an exhibition on mosaic and design will soon be set up.
For the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, however, the best visiting card remains the students, now engaged in concluding the work of this training year. Arrived expressly from Rome to shoot some reportages here in the region, the journalist and the cameraman were able to observe the cutting of the tiles with the hammer, the different execution methods based on the type of mosaic composition and the study of some sketches for the mosaic that will be created by the students of the specialization course in Lignano Pineta, at the bathing establishment n. 2. 2.
It has been a while since the school has not received guests, but nothing has changed: the beauty and pleasure of exchanging thoughts and emotions talking about mosaic remains and from July 6, we hope, you will be able to welcome visitors who wish to know reality again of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli.
