The 2020/2021 school year will start
Everything is ready for the start of the 2020/2021 school year at the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in Spilimbergo. Classes will resume regularly, as per tradition, on the last Monday of September, in compliance with the specific safety and epidemiological disaster protocol developed by the School Management and already tested in May and June, when the School , first in the region, he reopened the mosaic and terrazzo workshops to his students so that knowledge and practical preparation would not fail.
In reality, since 31 August, the School has already welcomed students who have taken the opportunity to attend recovery and integration lessons, preparatory to the starting year and useful for covering that activity lost in the past spring months when nationally the closure of school buildings was decreed.
Gradually, therefore, the students of the three courses are repopulating the classrooms of the mosaic and terrazzo workshops to practice and develop skills, always under the guidance of their teachers.
On Monday, September 14, the specialization course dedicated to “mosaic masters” will start, in advance of previous years, who, having completed their professional path last June with the deserved qualification, want to deepen, by attending a further year at the School, the design and construction of mosaics now following all the executive phases, from conception to installation.
The internationality of the School is again confirmed by the first course which is double (divided into two sections) and complete. According to a trend in recent years, almost half of the members come from abroad and not only from Europe.
The students of the second and third courses have been confirmed: gradually returning in these weeks of September, they have the opportunity to review the notions learned and set up and organize everything necessary for the recovery.
On the morning of Monday 28 September, the 2020/2021 formative year will be inaugurated with an official ceremony, a moment in which the new students become part of the great team of the School with students, teachers and Management united in a choral wish for good work.
