the new edition of the FIDAPA award
In 2025 the FIDAPA-International Federation of Business and Professional Woman Award will turn twenty and it is with this sense of pride that yesterday, Tuesday 3 December 2024, the announcement of the new edition of the Award addressed to the female students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli was presented. This is a competition of ideas for a project of a mosaic work focused on the female figure in the working and professional sphere: the most convincing work will then be transformed into a mosaic by the School itself and the student creator will receive a cash prize donated provision by FIDAPA.
In previous editions, mosaics dedicated to nurses, teachers and cotton mill workers were created… then placed in public places to be admired and above all to celebrate the female role in different professional sectors.
To the female students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in this edition a.f. 2024/2025 we ask to develop a subject that gives credit to the women pharmacists to whom the “Vittoria Alata” Award connected to the competition announcement will be dedicated.
«An award to these healthcare professionals involved in advising people on the correct use of medicines, assisting them in moments of urgency and need in dispensing medicines with the right dosage and adherence to therapy. receptive, welcoming and reassuring interlocutors towards people in need of care, comfort and understanding», it is read the announcement.
The aim of the competition, conceived and promoted by FIDAPA, is to support the creative and planning skills of the School’s students and to stimulate reflection on the contribution of women to the development of society.
The official presentation of the FIDAPA Award, in front of all the students of the School, was attended by the president and director of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, Stefano Lovison and Gian Piero Brovedani, the president of FIDAPA – Pordenone section Morena Cristofori and the historical member and creator of the competition, Romanina Santin, who was left with the burden of illustrating the competition notice.
