CREAttivo #5 #6 exhibition
On Friday 14 February at 6 p.m., at the Casa Maccari Cultural Centre in Gradisca d’Isonzo, the CREAttivo #5 #6 exhibition will be inaugurated, curated by the Maravee Cultural Association, in collaboration with various local realities including the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli.
It is an exhibition presenting a part of the articulated and multi-year CREAttivo project where art and business, ethics and aesthetics are intertwined, developed in 2024 in two distinct Cammini (paths): Cammino (Path) for UNESCO, which unites Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia under the banner of the World Heritage Site, and Cammino Sensoriale (Sensory Path) to expand the perception of play and life.
The exhibition will feature furniture embellished with mosaic interventions designed and created by the School’s students. Video installations will tell the story of the two Cammini: from the games and furnishings with the winning mosaics of the International Mosaic&Design Competition to the permanent construction of the two new paths at the CREAttivo Park in Aquileia and then images from the Unesco Sites, the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli and the companies involved.
The entire project, curated by Sabrina Zannier, was realised with the support of the Region’s Department for Culture, the collaboration and contribution of the Fondazione Aquileia, the collaboration of the Municipality of Aquileia, the Municipality of Gradisca and Casa Maccari, the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli and the three companies: Legnolandia, Gervasoni and Very Wood. It is in this broadened horizon that CREAttivo reaffirms its artistic-cultural-social value in which the playful element is that of the relay game. Because the proposed dual Cammino (Path) is a ‘race’ to project enhancement, which through sensory involvement and transnational extension to UNESCO sites stages a team in which each participant contributes to the same result: culture, business, education and heritage community!
