Scuola Mosaicisti di Spilimbergo and Consorzio NIP: a collaboration in favor of companies

A new opportunity is emerging for the companies of the Spilimbergo-Maniago axis, namely the possibility of being involved in the Cross Fertilization project which sees the NIP Consortium – Nucleo of Industrialization of the Province of Pordenone on the one hand and on the other the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli of Spilimbergo. It is a collaboration aimed at fostering innovation and technology transfer, through the possibility for the work teams of manufacturing companies in the area to benefit from the creative impulse deriving from a dynamic socio-cultural context such as that of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli.
The first company that has already seized this opportunity is SIAP Spa, located in the NIP industrial area of Maniago, which represents the Carraro Group’s center of excellence for quality components and gears. The Vice President of the Group and President of SIAP, Tomaso Carraro, in fact visited the headquarters of the Scuola Mosaicisti together with Paolo De Col, who is not only the General Manager and Board Member of SIAP but is also a councilor of the Board of Directors of the NIP Consortium. A stimulating meeting that highlighted how it is possible to combine art with the entrepreneurial development of the area.
“The mosaic represents our artistic culture as well as an application of our own techniques: the study, research, experimentation and use of the most innovative technologies are signs of adaptation to a constantly evolving economic context – said Stefano Lovison, President of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli – by opening the possibility of a partnership between cultural, artistic and productive realities, we want to convey the message that tradition and evolution can coexist in a path of collective growth “.
“The vision of the NIP Consortium includes the active involvement of stakeholders who can bring great value to the projects and initiatives implemented by local businesses.
– said Renato Piazza, President of the NIP Consortium – A strategy that defines an innovative organizational model for the management of the territory aimed at facing future challenges by overcoming the now obsolete parochialism and teaming up in a win-win perspective. In particular, we believe that the contamination of the two worlds in a new perspective and vision of doing business can be particularly stimulating. And even in this stimulating challenge, NIP wants to be there “.
“The meeting with the Scuola Mosaicisti of Spilimbergo was an opportunity for us to get in touch with yet another Italian excellence. A valuable excellence that attracts young talents from all over the world. – commented Tomaso Carraro, Vice President of the Carraro Group – An excellent example also for our industrial world which we hope will become a forge and catalyst for human capital ”.
“We found ourselves faced with a real expression of technique in the original sense of the Greek term téchne. An art that brings together expertise, aesthetics and a sense of planning. – added Andrea Conchetto, General Manager of the Carraro Group – The parallels between these skills and those present within the company are inevitable. Because each of our well-executed projects and processes follows exactly the same method ”.
