Delegation of the 31st Fighter Wing visiting the School
On Monday 27 November 2023, a delegation from the 31st Fighter Wing of the Aviano base visited the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli to learn about its history and appreciate its activity.
The guests were welcomed by the president of the School, Stefano Lovison, who accompanied them to visit the spaces of the School and to discover the numerous and different mosaics on display. This was followed by a workshop led by Pauline Debuchy and Vsevolod (Seva) Prokhorov, students of the specialization course: an experience to experiment with the rudiments of mosaic art with hammers and enamels.
The visit ended in the great hall with a general greeting where president Lovison and director Gian Piero Brovedani wanted to pay homage to the wing commander Brig Gen Tad D. Clark and his staff with the volume that tells the story of one hundred years of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli.
