The exhibition The ways of art – Watercolor, Painting, Mosaic3D, curated by the Circle of art and culture “Per le antiche vie” of Montereale Valcellina opens on Thursday 6 May 2021, with the collaboration of Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli.
The exhibition, commissioned by the Pitars wine company and hosted at its winery in San Martino al Tagliamento, brings together three different arts: watercolor, painting and mosaic. These are the works of the watercolorist Lisa Pagnutti and the painter Tamara Zambon, to which are added the mosaics of the Scuola mosaicisti del Friuli.
The exhibition will open at 6.30 pm with a presentation by Paolo Venti, professor and art critic. The President Stefano Lovison and the Director Gian Piero Brovedani of the Scuola mosaicisti del Friuli will also be guests. From the latter come the contemporary mosaics which are plastic forms, that is all-round sculptures covered with a mosaic surface, and panels whose tiles are arranged in such a way as to give the subject an almost three-dimensional relief The choice of the term “Mosaic3D” intends to underline the formal research that the School is carrying out to get out of the two-dimensionality typical of this medium to relate to the surrounding space.
The Municipality of San Martino al Tagliamento, a consortium member of the Scuola mosaicisti del Friuli, also applauds the initiative, the result of the collaboration between three realities strongly linked to the territory.
The exhibition will be open until 5 June 2021, from Monday to Saturday, from 9 am to 12 am and from 2 pm to 7 pm.
