Local MEET Forum in Gorizia
The Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli participated in the Local MEET Forum in Friuli Venezia Giulia in Gorizia.
Destination Italia, a company specialized in experiential incoming tourism in Italy and organizer of the event, wanted to invite the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli as a reality which, while operating in training, wanted to open its doors to visitors to spread knowledge of the art of mosaic .
Cultural institution among the few present at the event, through its director, Gian Piero Brovedani, wanted to demonstrate in the seminar dedicated to Governance the constant and growing presence of visitors who have the opportunity to experience the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli during its daily activity . Also present at the table dedicated to the management and good governance of sustainable tourism held in the Gorizia Town Hall and coordinated by the manager Michela Lautieri, together with the School: Elena Roppa, FVG delegate of the Women of Wine Association; Francesca Pitacco, president of the FVG Tourist Guides Association; Serena De Lorenzi, sales manager of Villa Russiz; David Pizziga, president of Gal Carso; Damiano De Marchi, project manager of the Venice World Capital of Sustainability Foundation.
The event, which took place throughout the day of 4 June 2024, was divided into working groups dedicated to communication, attractiveness, tourist expectations, places of excellence, traditional tourism and obviously the great event of Nova Gorica-Gorizia Capital of Culture 2025, and plenary moments of sharing and discussion.
ViaggItalia CLiCK iT – Viaggi Undertourism in Italia, PromoTurismoFVG, the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce and the Municipality of Gorizia contributed to the Destination Italia Group event.
