MYT’s award 2018
During the inauguration of the exhibition MOSAIC YOUNG TALENT-Friday 27 April 2018-at the Civic Museum of Pordenone, were also decreed the winners of the same name, sponsored by the Cultural Association Naonis Pordenone in collaboration with the School mosaicists of Friuli and with the municipality of Pordenone.
Two students awarded the school mosaicists of Friuli: Ilaria Noninofor the intense mosaic interpretation of the portrait of Marilyn Monroe and Elena Lucia Maggiolettifor the touching tribute to guitarist Carlos Santana.
The exhibition and the delivery of the award were introduced and presented by the Councillor for Culture of the municipality of Pordenone Pietro Tropeano, the artistic director of the competition Guglielmo Zanette, the art critic Enzo Santese, the president of the school mosaicists of Friuli Stefano Lovison.
The award-winning students were surrounded by the warmth and enthusiasm of all the schoolmates present at the inauguration together with the teachersand director Gian Piero Brovedani.
The exhibition-open until 27 May-is dedicated to 14 portraits of some of the protagonists of our time through the works carried out by the students of the school mosaicists of Friuli. It can be visited from Wednesday to Sunday from 15 to 19 hours.
