The work was born from a meeting of the students with the artist Simon Benetton. The lines that the sculptor usually draw on the metal plates that sharply cut the folded surfaces or delimit the vision of the sky, are here again proposed through the use of color. However, contemporary mosaic meditates on compositional and chromatic structures and experiments with matter and color. Here then is the introduction of different materials including wool, the variation of the inclination, relief and shape of the tiles, the choice of moving the surface so that it can vibrate in the light. It is these solutions that do not deny the understanding of an image, but increase its expressiveness.
