Stage with the artistItalo Zuffi
There is an experience sui generis at the school mosaicists of Friuli within the stage with the artist Italo Zuffi, addressed to students of the third course (18-22 April 2016), followed by the teacher Serena Leonarduzzi.
An stage where new stimuli and interactions between students are breathed. Italo Zuffi works with them and puts them in a position to deepen aspects of their poetic and research, making them an active part in the study of contemporary artists, in the discussion and analysis of visual materials, in group exercises, Individual meetings and presentations. A path within which students can “question what is, or may be, the present or future direction of their doing, both in terms of content and language.”
Are emerging stimuli, reactions, discussions on different levels that pose more or less all face to face with themselves, with others and with the current world in its most diverse facets, thoughts, suggestions. Even the art and technique of Mosaic can express the present time and communicate everything that moves within existence. Moreover – as Zuffi also emphasized expressing thoughts to students – you cannot be indifferent to what happens in the world, any work you do. Everything that is being born inside the stage is the result of confrontation and sharing of experiences.
A big thanks to the Rotaract Association of Maniago and Spilimbergo for promoting and supporting the initiative through the art curator Eva Basso; It is nice that an association of young people is prodigal to support the formation of other young people… A sign of extraordinary sensibility and trust.
