Symposium 2024 in Lignano Pinet
The work created for the 2024 Mosaic Symposium in Lignano Pineta will be inaugurated on Saturday 8 June 2024 at 6.00 pm.
This year’s mosaic intervention concerns the bathing establishment (Bagno) n. 5 – Swiss flag, on the Lungomare Kechler. This is an implementation that will make the colorful mosaic with the bathers, designed by the artist Luigi Del Sal and created by the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in 2018, more in line with the recent mosaics of Baths 7 and 6.
The mosaic, created by the students of the a.f. specialization course 2023/2024, Jihyeon Lee, Dalila Loiacono, Alessia Lovato, Vsevolod Prokhorov, will be laid and completed on site. At the bathing establishment n. 5 it will be possible to see the mosaicist students at work from Tuesday 4 June to Thursday 6 June 2024.
The inauguration on Saturday evening will take place right at plant n. 5, in front of the completed mosaic work.
