Mosaics in Grado
The Mosaico Grado. The Art of the Muses on the Golden Isle exhibition opens on Friday 2 August 2024 in Grado at the former Cinema Cristallo.
Curated by the Corte degli Artisti APS Association, it sees the participation of around twenty authors, master mosaicists trained at the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, who exhibit some works that are an expression of a personal style and research. If it is a mosaic, the results, subjects, materials and methods of execution are in fact very different. A rich and varied exhibition that demonstrates how mosaic is a current and continually evolving art form.
The exhibition, created in collaboration with the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, with the patronage of the Municipality of Grado and the support of the UNESCO Club of Udine, will be open to visitors from 2 to 29 August 2024, from 6 pm to 10 pm.
In addition to presenting the artists and their range of mosaic proposals, the event also has the aim of uniting, in the name of the art of mosaic, different places in the region, cities and small towns, Spilimbergo and the entire territory of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
