Icons of Art 2026. Exhibition of mosaic portraits
The exhibition Icons of Art will open on Friday 2 October at 6.00 pm at the Civic Art Museum – Palazzo Ricchieri in Pordenone.
This exhibition of mosaic works stems from the Mosaic Young Talent 2026 competition, which was open to students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli and focused on mosaic portraits.
The Mosaic Young Talent competition, organised by the Naonis Cultural Association, offers students at the School the opportunity to try their hand at mosaic portraiture using contemporary techniques. Over the course of its various editions, a gallery of well-known figures from the worlds of cinema, music, art and business has been assembled; this year, it will be expanded to include two further portraits of international stars, one of which has been chosen as the exhibition’s poster image: the actress and singer-songwriter Dolly Parton.
The exhibition will run until 1 November 2026.
