7th Mosaic Symposium – Lignano Pineta

From Monday 3 to Saturday 15 June the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli will be present at the 7th Mosaic Symposium organized by Lignano Pineta SpA at bathroom 3 – the English flag of the same seaside resort. This occasion will involve the mosaic artists of the Postgraduate Course of the Spilimbergo Institute, who will interpret in mosaic a workby the architect, town planner and painter Marcello D’Olivo.

This year, after the works carried out in 2016 at bathroom 7 – the Austrian flag based on a painter’s drawing Gianni Borta, in 2017 in the bathroom 4 – Italian flag based on a painter’s drawing Giorgio Celiberti and in 2018 at bathroom 5 – the Swiss flag based on a painter’s drawing Luigi Del Sal, continues the Mosaic Symposium with the bathroom 3 – English flag.

Six are students of the Advanced Course at the Mosaic School of Friuli: Martina Amato, Darina Baimuratova, Silvia Biancolino, Sara La Fiura, Elenalucia Maggioletti, Alina Sakharova. The students, with the guidance of the mosaic masters Serena Leonarduzzi, Cristina De Leoni and Luca De Amicis, will participate in the creation and installation of the mosaic work that will welcome tourists from Lignano Pineta from the upcoming summer season.

The inauguration of the mosaic will take place on Saturday 15 June 2019 at 11 am, at bathroom 3 – the English flag in Lignano Pineta.
