New furnishings at the CREAttivo Park
The new sensory-playful paths at the CREAttivo urban park, in Corso Gramsci (green area near the schools) in Aquileia will be inaugurated on Tuesday 3 December 2024, at 10.30 am.
The park, already equipped with furnishings for the entertainment of the little ones, is enriched with tables and play panels produced by the Legnolandia company and made unique by mosaic interventions resulting from the CREAttivo #5 and #6 competition, aimed at the students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, conceived and promoted by the Maravee Cultural Association.
The new furnishings are the result of the projects developed by the winners of the competition: Sasha Anisimova, Francecsa Chionna, Chiara De Stefano, Giulia Menegon, Jacopo Mingozzi and Veronica Pessotto.
Specifically, Francesca Chionna and Chiara De Stefano embellished two gaming tables symbolizing the UNESCO sites (to which the city of Aquileia also belongs due to the importance of its mosaics) of Friuli Venezia Giulia and neighboring Slovenia.
Sasha Anisimova, Francecsa Chionna, Giulia Menegon, Jacopo Mingozzi and Veronica Pessotto instead worked on three playful panels characterized by a mirror, the game of tris and of numbers.
The mosaic interventions proposed by these students, who were then involved in their creation, are characterized by sustainability and discretion: based on the space available in the wooden furniture and on the theme of the indicated competition, they have created mosaic motifs that they know to be both simple and decorative, suitable for the context of the park and its young users.
The inauguration will see the participation of the award-winning students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli and the presence of guests who will make the presentation an engaging event.
