Turin International Book Fair 2019

Scuola Mosaicisti at the 32nd Turin International Book Fair

The Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli was invited by the Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia to take part in the FVG stand opening conference to 32° Turin international book fair.

the event returns from 9 Thursday to Monday 13 May 2019. Five days of dialogues and reflections around books and reading, five days in which authors and publishers from all over the world arrive in Turin. The Fair is the space of encounter and dialogue, between readers and curious, between publishers and professionals, who meet in Turin to discuss the world openly; the Fair is an event with high contents, but accessible to everyone. The Fair, in fact, offers useful arguments and reflections to sharpen the eye and precious to discover something more about ourselves and the time in which we live, and it does so by favoring a continuous dialogue with all the realities of the publishing world.

In this framework, the Fvg Region and the Pordenonelegge Foundation propose, also for 2019, La Libreria della Poesia (in collaboration with Librerie Coop and the support of Crédit Agricole Friuladria): an exclusive presence of volumes and verses difficult to be found in any other place. At his side, moreover, a Sala della Poesia is set up for meetings with the authors and for the presentation of publications. It is in this place that the President of the Mosaic School, Stefano Lovison, and the Director, Gian Piero Brovedani, will be speaking on Thursday 9th,introducing “Mosaici in Friuli Venezia Giulia” a catalog guide to mosaic works in the region and in particular to Galleria Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, at Spilimbergo.
