CREAttivo Award 2025 edition
Dedicated to the students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, the CREAttivo Award is now in its seventh edition. It is a competition requiring the conception and realisation of a mosaic intervention on four different furniture components in production at the companies Legnolandia, Gervasoni and Very Wood.
Conceived by Sabrina Zannier and organised by the Maravee Cultural Association, with the collaboration of the Friuli Mosaic School and well-known companies in the region, the competition aims to stimulate the creativity of the students by directing it towards functional and everyday solutions where the mosaic becomes the artistic element that makes the object unique.
The projects will concern three outdoor games by the company Legnolandia and three models of chairs produced by Gervasoni and Very Wood.
On the announcement, regarding the theme of the competition, which for this edition proposes Cammino in Equilibrio (Walking in Balance), we read: ‘The objectives of the project, aimed at the collectively shared daily life, with CREAttivo #7 stage the close collaboration between Art, Education, Territory and FVG Enterprise with the intention of tracing a ’Walking in Balance‘ on the cultural, environmental and social sustainability front’.
