From FIDAPA a mosaic for nurses
The mosaic dedicated to nurses wanted by FIDAPA of Pordenone will be presented tomorrow in its definitive location.
The work was created following a competition notice for the Vittoria Alata Prize, presented in February 2022, which saw the winner Chiara Fornasari then a student of the third course. As with previous editions of the competition, curated by FIDAPA and addressed to the students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, they were asked to make a mosaic to celebrate a profession in which women had demonstrated quality and dedication, specifically the strength and courage of nurses , key figures during the pandemic.
Chiara Fornasari’s sketch was translated into a mosaic by herself and by the other mosaicist students of the specialization course. The large panel was positioned in the main entrance hall of the Civil Hospital of Pordenone and tomorrow, 8 March 2023 as well as Women’s Day, at 16.00, will be publicly inaugurated.
