- Promoted byCultural Association Naonis of Pordenone, In collaboration with the province of Pordenone, was presented at the Aula Magna of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli the MOSAIC YOUNG TALENT Award for students of the third course and the specialization course.
- According to the terms of the announcement “the prize aims to promote contemporary mosaic both in its expressions linked to historical tradition, and in the most innovative and experimental forms. The objective of the competition is to select among the different achievements/interpretations those that are the most effective and emotional under the figurative/aesthetic aspect and to promote the same in various exhibitions, both in Italy and abroad, with The intent to grow and appreciate the work done by young artists Mosaicists “
- In This first edition of the prize, the students of the third course and of the specialization course of the school mosaicists are invited to create a mosaic work of cm 30×30 on the theme “The face as Emotion”.
- The works of the participants will be published in an electronic catalogue and posted on the site dedicated to the initiative www.mosaicyoungtalent.com, where the announcement of the competition is published from March 1st and where all the updates will be reported.
- The winner of the competition will get a cash prize and the exhibition of his work at the Miami ART BASEL 2016 in Miami (USA).
- In addition to the most deserving participants will be given the opportunity to follow a summer internship at a laboratory operating in the region.
