CREAttivo #4 exhibition
The CREAttivo #4. Arte e Impresa FVG in Cammino exhibition opens on Thursday 7 September 2023 at 6.30 pm in Gorizia, at the Santa Chiara Museum, which will present the results of the competition aimed at students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli entitled CREAttivo.
The mosaic interventions designed and created by the winners Purnima Allinger and Pauline Debuchy on furniture for a playground produced by the Legnolandia company and on seats designed by the Gervasoni and Very Wood companies will be exhibited.
The project, now in its fourth edition, pushes the School’s students to imagine mosaics in everyday life, as a distinctive element of furnishings already on the market. The workmanship must stick to the concept of the object, it must enrich it, it must be economically sustainable. These are essential requirements that the artistic intervention must consider when imagining the purpose of the furnishing object. The solutions designed by Pauline Debuchy, for example, will embellish games that will be located in a new public park in Aquileia.
The exhibition, in addition to the furnishings with mosaic elements, will also be enriched by project documentation and other artistic works that underline the importance of art in communities and in their daily lives, as an element of sociality, capable of triggering a process of improvement of life quality.
