“Pietro Ronzat” Prize for students of the third course

For the third consecutive year the Company SEPOL srl with its president Pietro Ronzat intends to support and recognize future mosaic professionals. It does so with a prize that, despite the complexity of the period we are living in, wants to highlight the technical and creative qualities of the students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli who have reached the end of the three-year training course.

A commission composed of two teachers from the School and the president of the SEPOL srl company, Pietro Ronzat, an art lover, will select the best mosaic, for technique and expressiveness, from all those performed as a final essay during the qualification exam.

During this period, all students of the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli are engaged in the execution of a mosaic essay that certifies their promotion to the upper class. From May 4, in fact, following the Order n.12 issued by the President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the mosaic and terrace workshops were reopened and so, alongside the theoretical distance lessons, it was possible to resume practical training and craftsmanship remained interrupted precisely because it cannot be implemented online.

The “Pietro Ronzat” Prize, addressed to students who have finished the last year and are preparing to enter the job market as mosaicists, will be awarded at the end of June as part of the ceremony for the delivery of qualification certificates for “Master Mosaicist “.

The award-winning work will then be exhibited at the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, so that it can be admired by all visitors and obviously included in the path of the Mosaic & Mosaics 2020 exhibition which will also fill the School spaces this summer.
